The FAO From Seeds to Foods global exhibition is back for a second year! From 8 to 12 October 2026, under the theme Fostering Innovation for Food Security and Nutrition, visitors will be taken on an immersive journey from seeds to foods, exploring how innovation, knowledge and collaboration are transforming agrifood systems and helping bring nutritious food from farm to table.
This year, we are thrilled to announce that the EBRD/FAO photo installation, Portraits of Food Heritage, which was unveiled at the EBRD headquarters last year, will be on display opposite the Main Stage. Through powerful images and personal stories, the installation celebrates the people who sustain our food systems and safeguard traditions that have been passed down through generations.
Come and discover this visual installation with us, and celebrate the people behind the food that we eat. Whether its farmers, processors or innovators, their stories reflect a living food heritage that connects past and present, preserving cultural traditions while adapting to a changing world.
By investing in stronger, more resilient agrifood systems, we can help ensure that these traditions thrive for generations to come.
