In 2020, the EBRD and FAO launched a technical cooperation package to help agribusinesses in EBRD’s countries of operation deal with COVID-19 disruptions. The assistance included both immediate support to help companies adapt with sanitary measures and research on the evolution of food systems post-COVID, from low-carbon agriculture to urban farming or e-commerce opportunities.
