
ACES: an Agrifood Climate and Environmental Sustainability initiative
With the future of food a pressing matter, the EBRD and FAO have launched the Agrifood Climate and Environmental Sustainability (ACES) initiative. The goal is to support the development of sustainable, resilient agrifood systems through innovative, low-carbon, climate-resilient solutions. Combining analytical work, knowledge sharing and policy support, ACES promotes investments that enhance agricultural productivity while reducing environmental impacts and supporting the alignment of agrifood systems with global climate goals.
